Privacy and website statistics
Optional website measurement is off until you choose to enable it in the footer's analytics preferences. You can turn it off there at any time. Your browser's Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal takes priority.
What optional measurement records
We count views of the homepage, contact page and Tower of Greed, project-link clicks, game-start button clicks and contact-form starts. We record the page category, a broad device category based on window width, and a referring website category. We do not collect typed form values, passwords, account identifiers, full URLs or search parameters in these statistics.
A random identifier in your tab's session storage groups estimated visits. It expires after 30 minutes without a measured event. The identifier is hashed on the server. It does not identify you across devices. A separate cookie remembers only your analytics preference for six months. Turning measurement off clears the tab identifier and stops new events.
Detailed measurement records are retained for up to 30 days before scheduled deletion; daily totals are retained for 13 months. Scheduled deletion can take additional time after an interruption. Statistics are available only to authenticated administrators. Collection is limited and may miss events; it is not a record of every visitor.
Contact messages and accounts
Sending the contact form stores your name, email address and message in an encrypted inbox and queues an email notification. This works even when optional measurement is off. Messages are retained for 90 days by default; emailed copies and service backups follow their own retention. The form collects an anti-spam challenge when configured. Accepted message totals are retained without the message contents.
When you enable measurement, a contact submission can count as a conversion for a previously measured contact-page visit. The analytics identifier is not saved with your message.
Account sessions and security checks use necessary cookies. Security logs and rate limits may process connection information, including IP addresses, separately from optional analytics. Signed-in browsing is excluded from optional website measurement.
For a question about your message or its removal, contact the website owner.
